Britney Spears posted an Instagram video over the weekend showing her dancing in a restaurant bathroom and lifting her dress to reveal her butt, saying she had stepped away from a “horrible” sushi date.
In the clip, the 43-year-old singer filmed herself from multiple angles as music played in the restaurant. She performed hair flips, danced against a wall, spun and at one point lifted the black lingerie-style dress to show her bare backside. Spears captioned the post, “Dinner sushi date but I have my own girl party in the bathroom !!!” and added, “Yummy, the guy was absolutely horrible 🤔🙄🤷🏼♀️ Psss show effort, no makeup.”
The clip, shared Sunday, also showed Spears grabbing and smacking her butt for the camera. The singer has frequently posted similar dance clips on social media, often in revealing outfits.
Earlier this month, Spears posted footage of herself twirling in a sheer thong jumpsuit with a blue bikini top and black boots before removing the bathing suit and covering her nipples with a flower emoji. In August, she deleted a video in which she danced and sang along to Rihanna’s “Unfaithful” and Prince’s “Kiss”; some fans expressed concern about that post, saying she did not appear to be “doing well” and calling for an intervention.
An insider told the Daily Mail at the time that Spears was “having an episode” and said the singer’s home was covered in feces, a claim that the outlet reported separately. Those accounts were cited by British tabloids and raised fresh scrutiny of her public behavior. Spears was under a 13-year conservatorship that ended in 2021.
Spears remains a frequent subject of tabloid and social-media coverage as she shares personal and often provocative clips with followers. The Instagram post over the weekend drew attention from entertainment outlets reporting on celebrity activity and fan reactions on social platforms.
Representatives for Spears did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Media reports describing the video and previous incidents relied on the singer’s own Instagram posts and on coverage from entertainment news outlets.
