Retired actress Bridget Fonda was recently spotted in Los Angeles, marking a rare public appearance for the star who stepped away from Hollywood more than two decades ago.

Fonda, 62, was seen leaving a restaurant with her assistant on Wednesday. She was dressed in a striped tank top and black pants, with her hair pulled back. She carried a black crossbody bag.

Fonda, daughter of Peter Fonda and niece of Jane Fonda, has largely remained out of the public eye since her departure from acting. Her last known sightings were sporadic, including an appearance in 2025 with her husband, composer Danny Elfman, upon their return to Los Angeles after a trip. That sighting was the first time the couple had been seen together in 16 years.

Fonda and Elfman married in 2003, and their son, Oliver, was born in 2005. The actress reportedly took a step back from her career to focus on raising their son, who is now 21.

In 2023, Fonda commented on her decision to leave acting, telling a paparazzo that she found it "too nice being a civilian" and had no plans to return to the industry.

Fonda and Elfman faced public scrutiny in 2017 when Elfman was accused of sexual harassment by a fellow composer. Although Elfman denied the claims, the parties reached a settlement. A second woman later accused Elfman of misconduct. Throughout these allegations, Fonda reportedly stood by her husband's side.
