Brian “Nashville” Neil Duckworth, a country music singer who balanced his passion for music with his career as a dump truck operator, has died at the age of 56. His family confirmed his passing, stating he died at his home in Clarksburg, West Virginia, on September 7. A cause of death was not disclosed.

Duckworth was a member of the band Taylor Made, performing alongside his brother Greg Duckworth and sister Wendy Williams. Even as the band gained recognition, Duckworth continued his work as a dump truck driver, a job his family described as one he enjoyed because it allowed him to spend time outdoors. "Whether working or relaxing, Brian was happiest surrounded by nature," his family noted in an obituary.

His music career was also a significant part of his life. He performed with Taylor Made, a band known for opening for artists such as Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley. In 2012, Taylor Made released the single “Things You Don’t Grow Out Of,” and the band was named Independent Artist of the Year by Nashville’s MusicRow Magazine in 2013. Duckworth's dedication to singing earned him the nickname "Nashville."

He is survived by his wife, Tina Scheuvront Duckworth, their six children, and four grandchildren, as well as five siblings. His family remembered him for his "love of family, music, and the outdoors."

Brian's niece, Brianna Duckworth Kazner, shared memories on social media, recalling singing with her uncle at family events and seeking his advice on songwriting. She mentioned he had recently called her about a song idea, leaving her with a final creative collaboration to pursue.

Duckworth will be laid to rest on September 14 at Floral Hills Memorial Garden.
