Braith Anasta was pictured enjoying a Father's Day lunch with his two daughters and his mother at Coogee Pavilion on Sunday, drawing attention for a casual look that included a pair of white Louis Vuitton sneakers reportedly valued at $1,700.

The 43-year-old former NRL player wore an NBA T-shirt, skinny black jeans and sunglasses as he left the venue with his mother, Kim, and daughters Aleeia, 11, and Gigi, seven. Photographs from the outing showed an emotional moment when Anasta watched as his mother embraced his children.

The appearance comes amid reports that Anasta has rekindled a relationship with Sydney publicist Sara Bray, who shared a photograph of the couple at a long lunch over the weekend. In her Instagram post, Bray wrote, "He makes me happy 20 years later," and friends responded with congratulatory comments. The reunion follows Anasta's split from former fiancée Rachael Lee, with whom he ended an engagement in late 2022.

Lee announced this month that she and her new partner, Evan Faulks, are expecting their first child together, posting a beach photograph and writing, "Summer baby on its way." Lee and Anasta share a daughter, Gigi. Anasta is also father to 11-year-old Aleeia with ex-wife Jodi Gordon.

Anasta's recent public profile has included a number of personal developments. Media reports in 2024 said a brief relationship with model Evie Tziomakis ended earlier in the year. Last August, during an appearance on 2Day FM's Jimmy & Nath, Anasta quipped about dating, joking that interested women needed to be "not pregnant" and offering a direct, lighthearted invitation to meet him at Coogee Pavilion.

On the Two Doting Dads podcast, he discussed the challenges of dating as a single parent, saying it was a careful process because he did not want to put his children through difficult transitions. "It's been probably two and half years I've been single," he told hosts Matty 'J' Johnson and Ash Wicks, a remark later scrutinised because it did not acknowledge more recent, short-lived relationships reported by media.

Anasta's career as a rugby league player included spells with the Bulldogs and the Sydney Roosters. Since retiring from professional sport, his personal life has remained a topic of tabloid and social-media coverage, particularly in relation to his role as a father and his high-profile relationships.

At Sunday's lunch, the atmosphere appeared relaxed and family-focused, with Anasta smiling alongside his daughters as they left the restaurant. Representatives for Anasta and the other parties did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
