Brad Pitt, 62, has no immediate plans to marry his girlfriend Ines de Ramon, 33, despite their seemingly strong relationship. This news comes as five of his six children with ex-wife Angelina Jolie have reportedly dropped the surname Pitt.

De Ramon and Pitt began dating in 2022, and sources say she has developed close relationships with Pitt's extended family. "Ines is incredibly close with Brad’s family. They absolutely adore her and she’s been welcomed with open arms from the beginning," a source told Page Six. The insider added that de Ramon maintains regular contact with Pitt's siblings and their children, attending family gatherings and making individual efforts to connect.

"She’s built real relationships with everyone. She spends time with Brad’s brother and sister, nieces and nephews, attends family gatherings and has made an effort to get to know each of them individually," the source stated. De Ramon also reportedly texts and communicates with Pitt's family members independently, demonstrating the depth of these connections. "Ines is very down to earth and easy to be around. She’ll sit around laughing and joking with everyone for hours and is completely comfortable in those settings. It doesn’t feel forced at all."

The family dynamic includes de Ramon being included in plans and sought out by Pitt's relatives. "People ask about her, include her in family plans and genuinely want her around. She’s become a natural part of the family dynamic," the source observed.

Pitt and Jolie finalized their divorce in December 2024, eight years after their 2016 marriage. The former couple share six children: Maddox, 24; Pax, 22; Zahara, 21; Shiloh, 20; and 17-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

In recent weeks, reports have surfaced indicating that several of the children have taken steps to distance themselves from their father. Maddox reportedly filed paperwork in May to remove Pitt from his surname for personal reasons. Zahara petitioned to change her surname from Jolie-Pitt to Jolie this month. Knox, who turned 18 on July 12, reportedly dropped Pitt from his name on his high school diploma, while Vivienne has formally begun using just Jolie. Shiloh also legally dropped her father's surname after turning 18.

Pax, however, has not removed his father's surname. According to Page Six, Pax maintains ties with the paternal side of his family, attending family dinners and celebrating events such as his cousin Sydney's engagement. A separate source indicated that Pax "doesn’t have much of a relationship with Brad" and in 2016, shared a critical Father's Day message about Pitt. It was also reported that Pitt was unable to reach or visit Pax in the hospital following an electric bike accident in 2024.
