Comedian and former "Saturday Night Live" cast member Bowen Yang is set to make his Broadway debut in the Tony Award-winning comedy "Oh, Mary!" at the Lyceum Theatre. Yang will succeed Meg Stalter as the titular Mary Todd Lincoln, taking on the role starting September 15 through December 6.

Yang, 35, expressed his enthusiasm for joining the production, stating, "My friendship with Cole [Escola, the show’s creator] has brought me many places over the years... But being part of their deranged and profound masterpiece, ‘Oh, Mary!,’ is my favorite one by far." He added that he will be grateful for "the best Broadway debut a cis gay guy with limited singing ability could ask for."

"Oh, Mary!" reimagines the final weeks of Mary Todd Lincoln's life before President Lincoln's assassination, portraying the First Lady as a cabaret-loving figure. The show has received critical acclaim, with The Post's theater critic Johnny Oleksinski awarding it four stars and describing it as a "hilarious and raunchy skit" with an "oddly suspenseful plot."

Tickets for Yang's 96 scheduled performances are currently available. As of publication, the lowest price found for a seat, including fees, was $120 on SeatGeek. Other tickets range from $124 to $252. SeatGeek is offering a $10 discount on purchases over $250 with the promo code NYPOST10 for first-time users.

Yang will be joined by original cast members Phillip James Brannon (Mary’s Husband), Bianca Leigh (Mary’s Chaperone), and Barrett Foa (Mary’s Teacher), along with Tony Macht, who originated the role of Mary’s Husband’s Assistant. Leigh has appeared in "Transamerica" and "Law & Order: SVU," Brannon in "Contagion" and "Elementary," and Foa in "NCIS: Los Angeles" and "Avenue Q."

In addition to the New York production, "Oh, Mary!" is embarking on a national tour, with Alaska Thunderf— from "RuPaul's Drag Race" stepping into the role of Mary. J. Harrison Ghee will play Mary's Husband and will later take over the role of Mary after Thunderf— departs the tour.

The production was also filmed on the West End at the Trafalgar Theatre on July 28, with Cole Escola. A release date for the taping has not yet been announced.

Other notable stars slated for Broadway appearances in the near future include Ana Gasteyer in "Schmigadoon!," Rachel Dratch in "Rocky Horror Show," Frankie Grande in "Titanique," Krysta Rodriguez and Mark Ballas in "Chicago," and Jeremy Jordan in "Just In Time."
