Billy Baldwin has stated he will “never, ever work with” actress Sharon Stone again, citing significant on-set tension during the filming of the 1993 erotic thriller “Silver.” Baldwin shared his experience on the “Lisa Guerrero Unleashed” podcast, detailing how an initial period of cordiality devolved over the course of the production.

According to Baldwin, after the first few weeks of filming, Stone ceased greeting him. He recounted scheduling a meeting with producers to express his discomfort with filming the remaining love scenes, particularly requesting not to kiss her. Baldwin stated he agreed to complete the scene but emphasized his inability to kiss Stone.

Baldwin suggested that this request led to a notable scene in the film, where his character, Zeke Hawkins, is depicted in an intimate moment with Stone's character, Carly Norris, against a support column. He also addressed claims made in Stone’s 2021 memoir, “The Beauty of Living Twice,” and subsequent promotional appearances. Stone had alleged that producer Robert Evans pressured her to sleep with Baldwin to improve his performance. Baldwin countered that he received a similar directive, interpreting it as a suggestion from the producer to alleviate perceived on-set tension rather than a comment on his acting ability.

He characterized Stone's implication of his poor acting skills as “silly,” referencing comments she allegedly made about him on “Larry King Live” around the time of the film's premiere. Baldwin also made further claims about Stone's alleged behavior on set, including the existence of a “shrine” to him in her trailer and an incident where she reportedly walked on crutches for days after he inadvertently stepped on her foot during a scene. He also referenced a purported comment made by Stone to Janice Dickinson about intending to make him fall “so hard” for her.

Baldwin noted that while he and Stone have encountered each other since the film's release, they have not spoken. He expressed a desire to “bury the hatchet” and potentially shake her hand or share a hug. Stone's representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Baldwin had previously threatened to reveal further details about Stone in 2024, but ultimately did not.
