Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson have reportedly ended their relationship, with a source close to the couple telling the Daily Mail that they "rather than let things get more complicated or allow resentment to build," they "mutually agreed" that breaking up was the best course of action.
The insider claimed that the relationship had been pulling Belichick's focus away from his role as head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels football team, stating that his "first love" has always been football. The source also alleged that the public scrutiny surrounding their age-gap romance became overwhelming for both Belichick and Hudson, turning their relationship into a greater headline than either of them desired.
According to the report, Hudson allegedly turned down career opportunities, such as "Dancing with the Stars" and other projects, due to the intense attention on her relationship with Belichick. The couple reportedly decided to keep their breakup quiet late last year to avoid further media attention before Belichick's NFL season, but the news of their split was broken by TMZ on Friday, which the source described as a distraction at an inopportune time.
Despite the breakup, the source emphasized that there is no animosity between Belichick and Hudson, who is reportedly already dating other people. "They still care about each other, still support one another, and have no desire to turn their split into something ugly," the insider stated.
Belichick and Hudson first met on a flight in 2021, and began dating a few years later. They made their red carpet debut in December 2024. During a "CBS Sunday Morning" interview in April 2025, Hudson deflected questions about the relationship's origins, while Belichick previously dismissed claims that Hudson was overly involved in his coaching duties as "just a flat-out lie."
Page Six has reached out to both Belichick and Hudson for comment but has not yet received a response.
