Big Brother alum Liam McGough has married his fiancée, Sloane Coe, in a New Orleans ceremony held earlier this year. McGough, who rose to fame on the eighth series of the reality show in 2007, shared his joy on Instagram, calling himself the "luckiest guy in the world" following the nuptials.
The couple became engaged in October of the previous year. McGough posted a selection of photos from the wedding, stating, "Some more to come but for now I couldn’t wait."
"The wedding was amazing—small and intimate, with only close friends and family," McGough told The Sun. "We got married right in the heart of New Orleans, Louisiana, and it was incredible. I've never experienced anything like it."
Following the ceremony, the celebration included a traditional New Orleans "Second Line" parade, featuring a brass band that marched the couple and their guests through the streets. McGough described the experience as a unique and extravagant spectacle, complete with a police escort to block roads.
McGough, 42, finished in third place on Big Brother and later earned a reported £5,000 per nightclub appearance. He now runs his own tree surgery business. He and Coe met while McGough was on holiday in Texas. He previously had a relationship with actress Emily Atack.
McGough is also preparing to perform his comedy show, "Two Guys One GCSE," at the Edinburgh Fringe festival later this month.
