The Big Brother house has experienced its first significant conflict just 24 hours after the new cast of housemates moved in, with Rochelle and Johanne at the center of a heated exchange.
The argument, which is set to air on Tuesday night's episode, began earlier in the day during a discussion about dogs. Rochelle stated that "Dog is God backwards" and expressed that dogs consider their owners their whole world, comparing it to a devotion one might have for God. Johanne found this comparison "a bit much," to which Rochelle retorted that "God does horrible things to you, for no reason."
When Johanne stated that God had never done anything horrible to her, Rochelle questioned her further. Johanne responded, "Well, you should go pray, or maybe you deserved it."
Tensions escalated further that evening during a question game. When asked by fellow housemate Rhianna who she was least likely to stay in contact with outside the house, Johanne replied, "If it's me, I won't be offended." Rochelle then named Johanne, to which Johanne agreed, stating, "You too… we're in agreement. Yeah, we're in agreement."
Later, when Charlotte asked Johanne who annoyed her the most, Johanne again named Rochelle. "Rochelle. It's gonna be the same thing. She asked me who annoys me the most and I said Rochelle," Johanne stated. "I mean every answer, who do I like least, who annoys me the most. It's gonna be her."
Rochelle responded, "Ditto… You've got a real fg problem. You've only been here one day." Johanne retorted that Rochelle was her "fg problem." The exchange devolved into shouting, with Rochelle telling Johanne to "f**k off," and Johanne warning Rochelle "not to get loud with her." Other housemates intervened to separate the pair and de-escalate the situation.
The full confrontation will be shown in Tuesday night's episode. Big Brother airs nightly at 9 p.m. on ITV2 and ITVX.
