Victoria Beckham's niece, Libby Adams, has emerged as the preferred photographer for her cousin Cruz Beckham and his band, The Breakers. The 28-year-old, daughter of Victoria's sister Louise, has been documenting the band's worldwide gigs and serving as their official content creator throughout the year.
Adams recently shared her involvement in photographing Cruz and his band during their debut performance at the Reading Festival. Proud aunt Victoria Beckham reposted some of Libby's candid shots on her Instagram, tagging her niece and directing her 33 million followers to Libby's page. The images captured Cruz embracing his parents amidst the festival's muddy backstage environment. Libby herself shared a reel showcasing her experience at the festival, posing with her camera and dancing backstage.
The band has lauded Adams as their 'content queen' on Instagram. She has also contributed behind the scenes, holding a producer credit for Cruz's music video for the single "For Your Love," which featured their grandfather, Tony Adams. In February, Cruz expressed his appreciation for working with family, stating there is "nothing better" than collaborating with them and thanking his cousin for her efforts.
Libby's role as the family's preferred photographer marks a shift from older brother Brooklyn Beckham's earlier attempts at a photography career, which was reportedly supported by his parents. This summer's festival circuit has been a significant period for Cruz and The Breakers. Following their Reading Festival performance, the band is scheduled for further shows, coinciding with the release of their "Wear & Tear" EP. The EP features tracks such as "Better Times," "WANNABE," "Seeing Red," "Loneliest Boy," and the title track "Wear & Tear." Cruz described the EP as capturing "a life lived," encompassing both positive and challenging experiences and the lessons learned.
Victoria and David Beckham attended the Reading Festival to support their son. Despite rainy conditions, the couple watched Cruz's performance from the side of the stage. Other family members present included Cruz's brother Romeo, sister Harper, and his girlfriend Jackie Apostel. This rise of 'nepo babies' on festival stages has also seen performances from Gene Gallagher, son of Liam Gallagher, and Moses Martin, son of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. Violet Grohl, daughter of Dave Grohl, was also slated to perform.
