Bebe Rexha performed at a World Cup Final watch party in Los Angeles, showcasing her performance style in a revealing outfit. The singer, 36, wore hotpants and fishnet tights, complemented by a bodysuit featuring the French national team's rooster badge.

This appearance followed online criticism regarding her weight gain. Rexha had previously responded to body-shaming comments made during her appearance at the American Music Awards. Trolls on social media questioned her appearance, with one commenter stating, "You know she's not on Ozempic," and another suggesting, "She needs to lay off the Twinkies."

In response to the negativity, Rexha quipped, "My thought is… My new album dirty blonde is out June 12th. Available for pre order now." Her fans supported her witty retort, with many pointing out her diagnosis with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). According to the World Health Organization, PCOS is a chronic metabolic condition associated with an increased risk of weight gain.

Rexha has spoken openly about her fluctuating weight in relation to her health condition. In a 2023 Instagram post, she acknowledged her weight gain, stating, "Yes, I'm in my fat era and what?" She also discussed the scrutiny she faced on The Jennifer Hudson Show, remarking on the public's focus on weight.

"Listen, we're in the public eye, so that's bound to happen," Rexha told Hudson. "I was a lot thinner and I did gain some weight - that comes with the territory. I'm not mad about it because it is true, but when you see things like that, it does mess with you."

She added, "You don't know what somebody's going through, what they're going through in their life, so it kind of is tough. But I feel like we're in 2023 ... we should not be talking about people's weight."

Rexha has previously expressed her frustration with online comments about her weight, admitting to checking trending topics on TikTok. "Seeing that search bar is so upsetting. I'm not mad cause it's true. I did gain weight. But it just sucks. Thank you to all the people who love me no matter what," she tweeted. She also shared, "I've always struggled with my weight. A bi*** likes to eat. I'm working on myself everyday. Just discouraged a bit right now."
