Barron Trump, the 20-year-old son of President Donald Trump, has made a rare public appearance in a behind-the-scenes video shared by his niece, Kai Trump. The footage, captured at the UFC Freedom 250 event held on the White House lawn, also coincided with President Trump's 80th birthday celebrations.
Kai Trump, a YouTube personality with 1.5 million followers, shared the video on Thursday, offering her viewers a glimpse into her family's activities. In the video, Barron Trump, a student at New York University, appeared in good spirits during the event. He was seen in two brief moments, once towering over his half-sister Tiffany Trump, 32, and later with a large smile as he anticipated the fights.
Despite his brief cameo and lack of direct engagement with the camera, Barron's appearance generated excitement among viewers in the comments section of Kai's YouTube channel. Many expressed their delight at seeing him, with some noting his elusiveness.
The UFC Freedom 250 event took place on June 14. This marks Barron Trump's first public appearance in several months. Previously, a White House pool reporter observed him taking on hosting duties, greeting guests who approached the President.
Barron Trump currently resides in Washington, D.C., having transferred to NYU's local D.C. branch for his sophomore year. He is known for maintaining a private life and is rarely seen at White House events or social gatherings. His last public appearance was at the State of the Union address in late February, alongside his mother Melania Trump and some siblings. He also did not attend this year's Easter Egg Roll.
At the UFC event, Barron, who sports a longer hairstyle, was seen with his father, President Trump, and mother, Melania Trump. Also in attendance were his half-siblings Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, along with their spouses Lara Trump and Kimberly Guilfoyle (Bettina Trump), and Ivanka Trump with her husband Jared Kushner. Kai Trump described the day as "one of the coolest days of my life," citing the opportunity to meet Dana White and celebrate her grandfather's birthday.
