Actress Aubrey Plaza, 41, was seen displaying her baby bump while out for a walk with her dog in New York City on Friday. She wore a black tank top that highlighted her midsection.

Plaza is expecting her first child with actor Christopher Abbott, 40. In April, she confirmed her pregnancy on a podcast, stating, "Well, there's a baby inside of me. No, I said there's a baby inside of me right now." She recounted a doctor's visit where she received an ultrasound, humorously adding that the baby "already has a cloak and a little hat."

She expressed excitement about becoming a first-time mother, telling the podcast hosts, "I am. Yeah. I’ve always wanted to see what that’s all about, you know?"

The baby is reportedly due in the fall. A source told People magazine that the pregnancy was a "beautiful surprise after an emotional year." Plaza and Abbott, who previously starred together on Broadway and in the 2019 film "Black Bear," are reportedly feeling "very blessed."

People first reported Plaza's pregnancy in April, with a representative for the actress confirming the news. Abbott is known for his role as the on-off boyfriend of Allison Williams's character in the HBO comedy "Girls."

Plaza's pregnancy news comes more than a year after the death of her estranged husband, Jeff Baena, who died by suicide in January 2025 at age 47. The couple had been separated since September 2024. Plaza had spoken about navigating her grief in an interview last August, describing her experience as "a daily struggle" but expressing gratitude for being able to move through the world.
