Ashley Trail has become the first contestant evicted from "Big Brother" Season 28. The eviction took place on July 16, marking the end of the season's first week.

Initially, Head of House Dee Valladares nominated Mallory Aurichio, Yash Patel, and Taylor Brown for eviction. However, when Mallory won the Power of Veto, she removed herself from the block, forcing Valladares to name a replacement nominee. Trail was chosen to take Aurichio's place.

Sources indicate that Taylor Brown was initially perceived as the likely first person to be evicted. However, Trail reportedly became the target after she named other contestants who had discussed this theory, leading houseguests to distrust her.

The vote to evict Trail was unanimous. The 24-year-old bartender from Chicago, Illinois, was described as having a bubbly yet laid-back personality. She did not form strong alliances or connections early in the game. During the initial challenges, she struggled and was unable to compete for safety.

"Big Brother" Season 28 airs live on CBS and streams the following day on Paramount+. The streaming service offers two plans: Essential for $8.99 per month and Premium for $13.99 per month, with a seven-day free trial available for the Premium plan.
