Singer Ashley Roberts recently took to Instagram to share a series of photos, offering fans a glimpse into her varied life. The update included a picture of Roberts in a bikini, alongside a nostalgic moment where she fit back into her childhood tap-dancing dress.
In the post, Roberts, 44, is seen posing poolside in a black bikini, accessorized with sunglasses and a baseball cap. She also shared a segment where she held up a childhood photograph of herself in a pink tap-dancing dress before revealing a current shot of her wearing the same garment and performing a short tap dance. This recall to her past was met with fan engagement, as Roberts noted her caption: 'grateful that no day is the same'.
Roberts also shared snapshots from recent activities, including a workout session where she displayed her abdominal muscles in a maroon sportswear set. Other images documented her engagements at Heart radio and Wimbledon, as well as a visit to the hairdresser for a blonde hair refresh.
This isn't the first time Roberts has delved into her Pussycat Dolls past. In May, she tried on several of the group's iconic and revealing stage outfits. This archival exploration was in preparation for a planned UK and Europe tour as a trio with Nicole Scherzinger and Kimberly Wyatt. During that earlier try-on, Roberts expressed surprise at the minimal fabric in some of the costumes, recalling them as "racy" and "skimpy." She noted, "Wow that is not a lot of fabric! I was like did I wear these?! And no tights? I don't know about this one..."
Roberts also revisited her "signature look," a black and white checked minidress, which she managed to zip up, declaring, "It still fits!" She also modeled a red Adidas co-ord set, complete with bedazzled shorts and a cropped jacket featuring her name, showcasing her abs as she performed dance moves and sang lines from her solo vocal debut, "Played."
