Ashley Graham accidentally revealed a clothing size in an Instagram post while previewing a jacket from her upcoming namesake collection for JCPenney.

In a post shared Friday, the 37-year-old model and Vogue cover star held up a brown faux leather jacket she designed and briefly exposed the size on the tag, which read “0X.” The reveal came as Graham, who has said she does not like to be labeled a "plus-size model," shared a sneak peek of items from the line she is creating for the retailer.

The 0X size is generally smaller than 1X but larger than an XL; it often corresponds to a U.S. women's 14W or 16W depending on the manufacturer. Graham has not publicly confirmed a consistent clothing size in the past, and estimates from outside observers have ranged from about a 12 to a 16.

Graham captioned the Instagram post, "Sneak peak of some pieces from my collection (eeeekkk!!) ((am I allowed to show these yet? )) (((I can NOT wait to show you more!)))" JCPenney announced in April that it had tapped Graham to create an exclusive collection aimed at full-figured women. The retailer said the line, scheduled to launch this fall, will "reflect Graham's signature bold and confident style." Graham said at the time, "This is something I've dreamed about for a long time."

The brief size reveal follows Graham's long-running public positioning on body image and labeling. She has frequently spoken about representation in fashion and objected to fixed labels that focus on a model's size rather than a body of work. The inadvertent tag flash adds a specific measurement detail to a conversation that has often centered on appearance expectations and sizing terminology in the industry.

Graham rose to prominence as a model working across editorial, runway and commercial projects, and she has appeared on the cover of major fashion titles. The JCPenney collection is part of a broader trend of retailers partnering with well-known figures to create inclusive, size-diverse lines aimed at a wider range of consumers.

The collection’s fall launch will be the first major retail rollout under Graham’s name with JCPenney; the company and the model have not issued further new details about prices or the full assortment beyond the preview shared on social media.

Graham’s post and the accidental reveal drew attention on social platforms and in tabloid coverage, where observers noted both the size tag and her earlier comments about avoiding the "plus-size" label. Neither Graham nor JCPenney has provided additional comment beyond the Instagram post and the April announcement.
