Ariana Grande has "liked" an Instagram post from psychotherapist Terri Cole that discusses the challenges of embracing a "healthier version" of oneself, particularly when it may lead to shifts in relationships.

The post, shared on Tuesday, featured a video with on-screen text stating, "Unfortunately, I can confirm that not everyone will like the healthier version of you. But that’s okay. Get healthier, anyway." Cole, a New York-based psychotherapist, relationship expert, and author, elaborated in her caption on how personal growth can create tension and alter relationships.

"There are going to be people who celebrate the healthier version of you…and you might have those who miss the version of you that was stretched thin, keeping everyone else happy + comfortable," Cole wrote. She encouraged prioritizing oneself, noting that "people who are meant to be in your circle will love and appreciate your growth."

Grande, 33, engaged with the post by "liking" it, but did not leave a comment. This action comes as the singer prepares to take a break from public-facing duties following her "Eternal Sunshine" tour, which concludes on September 1.

Grande's representative announced the upcoming break, citing "endless, ongoing public scrutiny" as a factor. This scrutiny appears to be related to renewed online commentary about her weight and appearance, particularly after the release of her music video for "Petal." A source close to the singer told Page Six that Grande has been overworked and that the constant chatter about her weight has not helped her manage public attention.

During her Chicago concert on Monday, Grande addressed the "negativity" she has encountered, stating that "nothing will ever be able to distort my reality." She clarified that her decision to step back from the spotlight after her tour was not impulsive but a "thoughtful and empowered" plan made a long time ago.

Sources indicate that Grande intends to spend her time away from the public eye with her family, friends, and boyfriend Ricky Alvarez, whom she recently reconnected with. She is reportedly looking forward to having more uninterrupted time with Alvarez, a former backup dancer she dated from 2015 to 2016.
