Ariana Grande has made her relationship with Ricky Alvarez Instagram-official, posting a series of photos with the dancer on Wednesday. The couple, who previously dated from 2015 to 2016, rekindled their romance following Grande's breakup with Ethan Slater.
In the Instagram post, Grande shared several pictures with Alvarez, including a mirror selfie with his arm around her and a blurry snap of them hugging. She captioned the post simply, "🌱 ! ♡." Alvarez also shared his support by reposting some of the photos on his Instagram Stories, including one of Grande wearing a "Petal" T-shirt.
Sources confirmed last month that Grande and Alvarez had reignited their relationship. An insider told Page Six that Grande is taking things slowly due to her busy schedule, noting that she has "a lot on her plate at the moment and is still incredibly busy with her tour schedule."
Alvarez has reportedly remained close with Grande's family over the years, a connection she values. He has also been a supportive presence during her "Eternal Sunshine" tour, attending several shows. Insiders suggest Alvarez has been "super supportive" as Grande prepares to step back from public life after concluding her tour in September.
Grande's representative stated that she will take a "much-deserved break" after enduring "endless, ongoing public scrutiny." Another source indicated that Grande plans to spend this time off with Alvarez, as well as her family and friends.
Grande and Alvarez first met in 2014 when he became her backup dancer and later joined her on the 2015 Honeymoon Tour.
