Ariana Grande has added to her collection of body art with a new tattoo that appears to match one belonging to her boyfriend, Ricky Alvarez. The singer, 33, revealed the new ink on her left collarbone during a recent stop on her "Eternal Sunshine" tour in London. Fans noticed the phrase "I do love you" tattooed on her skin.
Alvarez has a similar tattoo, with the same words inked on his left collarbone in a different font. The coordinated body art comes shortly after Grande and Alvarez rekindled their romance. The pair, who previously dated from 2015 to 2016, publicly confirmed their relationship on Instagram on August 12.
The matching tattoos could be a reference to the 1965 song "I Do Love You" by Billy Stewart, which features lyrics about love and commitment. Grande has a history of commemorating significant relationships with tattoos. She previously had matching tattoos with "Wicked" co-star Cynthia Erivo and ex-fiancé Pete Davidson, many of which have since been altered or covered.
Alvarez, a former backup dancer for Grande, first joined her team in 2014 and toured with her during her Honeymoon Tour in 2015. The couple reportedly remained friends over the years following their initial romance. Their reunion was exclusively confirmed by Page Six last month, following Grande's breakup with Ethan Slater.
