Ariana Grande concluded her "Eternal Sunshine" tour with an emotional performance at London's O2 Arena on Tuesday, marking her temporary departure from showbusiness.

The 33-year-old singer, who has spent the past three months touring globally, expressed deep gratitude to her fans during her final show.

"It's been the most beautiful, extraordinary experiences of my life," Grande said tearfully on stage. "Thank you from the bottom of my heart, it has been so special and I'll cherish this experience always and I have the best fans in the entire world and I always have."

She continued her emotional sign-off, stating, "Thank you for being by my side all the way from Honeymoon Avenue to Hampsted."

During the performance of "One Last Time," Grande became visibly overcome with emotion and asked the audience to sing along as she struggled to continue.

For the final show, Grande opted for Ugg boots instead of her usual high heels due to a minor injury. She had shared on Instagram the previous day that she was recovering from a "deep cut" on her foot, which caused her to limp on stage the prior week.

"It is not a sprain or anything muscular but just a deep cut!" she explained on social media. "So when you see me tonight without my signature heels, or even possibly having a little trouble putting weight on that foot, that is why! But please do not fret. On with the show and I am on the mend."

Grande clarified last month that her decision to take a career hiatus was planned well in advance and was not a reaction to negativity. "Multiple things can be true at the same time. Yes, boundaries, they need to be set. Human beings can need a break sometimes," she stated on stage.

She emphasized that the tour had been a positive and healing experience, stating, "this tour has been the most healing, beautiful, corrective, magnificent, special experience of my life."

The emotional star bid farewell to showbusiness as she plans to take a step back from the spotlight for the foreseeable

Grande's hiatus includes withdrawing from her previously announced starring role in the London production of "Sunday in the Park with George" at the Barbican Centre in summer 2027. Jonathan Bailey, who was set to reunite with Grande for the production, has also withdrawn.

Bailey shared his support for Grande's decision, writing on Instagram, "Ari is one of my dearest friends, and my support for her is unwavering." He added, "After much consideration, I have decided to step back from Sunday in the Park with George."
