Ariana Grande concluded her Eternal Sunshine Tour Tuesday in London, thanking her fans and announcing a hiatus from public life. The final show marked the end of a 41-date tour that spanned the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.

"I'll cherish this experience always. I have the best fans in the entire world and I always have," Grande told the audience, expressing emotion as the tour wrapped up. She described the tour as one of the "most beautiful, extraordinary, experiences" of her life.

A representative confirmed in August that the 33-year-old singer would be taking time away from public visibility after the tour's conclusion. The statement indicated a desire to step back from "endless, ongoing public scrutiny" and to finish the tour on a high note, both healthily and happily.

Ahead of the penultimate show, Grande had alerted fans to a foot injury that required her to swap her signature platform boots for shorter footwear. She reassured fans she was recovering and appreciated their continued support and elaborate costumes, which often mirrored her style.

The concert's finale featured Grande ascending into a simulated spacecraft. While her immediate return to the public eye is unknown, her latest album, "Petal," is nominated for artist of the year at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards.
