Ariana Grande is reportedly committed to promoting her upcoming film "Focker-in-Law," which is slated for a November release. This comes despite the singer's earlier announcement of a "break from visibility" following the conclusion of her "Eternal Sunshine" tour.

A source told People that Grande, 33, is "very proud" of the project, in which she portrays Olivia Jones, the fiancée of Skyler Gisondo's character, Henry Focker. Grande's character is described as a former FBI hostage negotiator and triathlete.

The film features a returning cast from the "Meet the Parents" franchise, including Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Blythe Danner, and Teri Polo. Grande is also expected to continue her brand work while out of the public eye.

News of Grande's casting in "Focker-in-Law" first emerged in May 2025, with the trailer being released in April. The singer's planned break from public-facing work was announced in August, following "endless, ongoing public scrutiny" regarding her appearance. Grande clarified during a concert that the decision was not impulsive but rather a long-planned move.

This promotional commitment follows Grande's withdrawal from a West End stage production, "Sunday in the Park With George," opposite Jonathan Bailey. Bailey also subsequently exited the production, stating his support for Grande.

Grande recently wrapped up her "Eternal Sunshine" tour, expressing gratitude to her fans during her final performance. She described the tour as "one of the most beautiful, extraordinary experiences of my life" and thanked attendees for making it special.
