Anya Taylor-Joy drew attention at a photocall for the crime thriller "Lucky" in London on Monday, navigating a significant heatwave.

Taylor-Joy, 30, opted for a sheer lace dress without a bra for the event held at Raffles London at The OWO. The outfit featured a plunging neckline and a slinky blue skirt attached to a black lace bodice.

Despite temperatures reaching 33 degrees Celsius (91.4 degrees Fahrenheit) in the capital, Taylor-Joy appeared composed as she posed for photographers. The United Kingdom was experiencing its third heatwave in as many months, with forecasts predicting temperatures as high as 35C (95F) in some regions.

Taylor-Joy is currently promoting "Lucky," a crime thriller based on a New York Times bestselling novel of the same name. The series follows her character, Lucky, as she attempts to leave a life of crime but is compelled to return to her darker side to escape her past. The show is set to premiere globally on Apple TV+ with its first two episodes on July 15. Drew Starkey, known for "The Hate U Give," stars as her husband, Cary.

In recent interviews, Taylor-Joy has spoken about her upbringing, describing her childhood as one of constant moves that left her feeling "alienated." Raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she relocated to the UK at age six, a move she has previously called "traumatic." She initially resisted learning English, hoping to return to Argentina. Reflecting on her early life, she told L'Officiel magazine that the frequent relocations made her feel disconnected from her peers but now sees it as preparation for a "transient life."

Taylor-Joy, who now splits her time between London and Los Angeles, has embraced a nomadic lifestyle, often taking spontaneous trips if they are within a six-hour drive.
