Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid was recently seen collecting his suit from a luxury tailor in Kansas City in anticipation of the upcoming wedding of NFL star Travis Kelce and singer Taylor Swift. Reid, 68, had previously been documented on the tailor's Instagram account undergoing a fitting for the event, which is reportedly scheduled for Fourth of July weekend at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
When asked about a wedding gift, Reid humorously told Kansas City news station KHSB, "I'm going to give Travis a couple throws — just a couple of new routes." This jest aligns with a reported "no gifts" policy for the ceremony, according to Kelce's friend George Kittle.
Reid is expected to attend the ceremony with his wife, Tammy. The guest list is anticipated to include numerous celebrities such as Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne, Zoe Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, Suki Waterhouse, Robert Pattinson, and the Haim sisters.
Recent days have seen Swift making public appearances related to Kelce's endeavors. On Tuesday night, she made a surprise performance at Tight End University in Nashville, an event co-hosted by Kelce. During her rendition of her 2008 hit "Love Story," Swift showcased her engagement ring to the crowd.
Swift dedicated the performance to tight end George Kittle, stating it was a "very special request from a very special tight end." She later joined Kelce on the red carpet for the opening event of the three-day summit, which brings together tight ends from various levels of football. Kelce, who had recently concluded his bachelor party festivities, welcomed attendees to the event.
Kelce is expected to return for the opening of Chiefs training camp on July 29, following the wedding and any potential honeymoon plans.
