Andy Cohen revealed Jen Shah's fate on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City during an audience Q&A ahead of a January 2025 taping of Watch What Happens Live. A studio audience member asked whether there was any chance that Monica Garcia or Jen Shah could return to RHOSLC. Cohen replied: "Jen Shah…I never want to see again," a video of the moment captured by the fan and shared on TikTok.
Shah starred in the first three seasons of RHOSLC before she was sentenced to six-and-a-half years in prison for her role in a telemarketing scheme. With her release date now scheduled for October 2026, fans have wondered whether she would be invited back to the show. The conversation around her future drew additional attention after late-night host John Oliver urged Cohen to bring her back on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, saying, "If she does not get to go back on the show when she comes out, Andy Cohen is not the super producer that I think he is." That remark was reported by The Wrap.
Shah's team did not stay silent. They posted a statement to Shah's Instagram Story saying, "A respectful conversation has already been had with Bravo behind the scenes and there are no hard feelings." The comments from Cohen come amid a long history of public back-and-forths between the former RHOSLC star and the Bravo executive producer. Shah previously responded to Heather Gay's claim in RHOSLC's Season 4 finale that Shah was the one who punched Gay in Season 3, writing on Instagram in January 2024, "BRAVO, if I punched Heather in her eye, you guys would have footage to prove it. It’s clear the show can’t live without me since I was brought up at the beginning, middle and end of season 4." Cohen later explained why a sit-down interview never happened during an episode of Radio Andy's Andy Cohen Live, saying Shah's terms were too onerous and that she wanted, among other things, a docuseries about her days before jail and a substantial fee, while maintaining her innocence. He noted that he had already secured interviews with her at two RHOSLC reunions, and that another sit-down would amount to repeating a conversation he felt was already resolved, per People.
Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
