Comedian Andrew Santino said he does not expect to receive an invitation to the wedding of his friend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and pop star Taylor Swift, saying Swift is "controlling that guest list." Santino made the remarks during an appearance on the "Pardon My Take" podcast.

"I doubt it. I mean, I highly doubt it dude," Santino told the podcast. "I don't think I got that invite. You know she's controlling that guest list. I'm not on that list... Dude, Trav is my boy. I love him to death." He added that he might still be invited to a bachelor party.

Santino, who has been friends with Kelce for years and has appeared on each other's podcasts, said Kelce told him earlier this year that he planned to propose. "Him and I spoke when I had last saw him and he said he wanted to do it when we had golfed together in April or May and he said he was doing it," Santino said. "But he didn't say when. I don't pry."

He drew a distinction between Kelce's longtime childhood friends — "He's got a lot of dogs from Ohio that he's loyal to the foil on that will be there for sure," Santino said — and friends they met later in life. "I'm an adult friend. Adult friends are different. We met later in life and I'm sure when they're going down the list, she'll get to Santino and be like, 'Oh no dude.'"

Kelce and Swift confirmed their engagement on Aug. 26, sharing a series of photographs set in a garden at Kelce's Leawood, Kansas, estate, according to Page Six. Page Six also reported that Kelce proposed after the couple filmed an episode of Swift's "New Heights" podcast on Aug. 13.

The pair began dating in the summer of 2023 and have kept details of their wedding plans largely private. An insider told Page Six that the couple "are getting married next summer in Rhode Island" and said Swift "is in a hurry to have children." The report has not been independently verified by other outlets.

Kelce, who enters his 13th NFL season, has maintained a public profile that includes appearances with friends and fellow entertainers. Santino said he recently FaceTimed Kelce with his father to congratulate the tight end and that he hopes he might be included in any pre-wedding festivities.

Public details about the wedding, including a confirmed date and guest list, have not been released by Kelce or Swift. Both individuals and their representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Santino's comments reflect the social dynamics that can accompany high-profile celebrity weddings, where guest lists often draw scrutiny. Until Kelce and Swift provide official information, accounts from friends and unnamed insiders remain the primary sources for details about the couple's plans.
