Andrew Garfield attended the New York afterparty for the romantic comedy "One Night Only" on Monday, showing support for his girlfriend, Monica Barbaro. Barbaro, 36, stars in the film alongside Callum Turner.
The movie, which features Barbaro and Turner as two strangers attempting to find love during a unique annual event where pre-marital sex is legal, is set to be released in the U.S. on August 7 and in the UK on August 28.
Garfield arrived at the Crane Club afterparty wearing a green suit and sweatshirt, while Barbaro opted for a plunging black minidress, black heels, and a clutch bag. This outfit was a change from the white silk slip dress she wore to the film's premiere earlier in the evening.
Barbaro spoke about her experience working with Turner, describing him as "kind, energetic, fun, collaborative." The actress, previously known for her role as fighter pilot Phoenix in "Top Gun: Maverick," shared that she aimed to honor female pilots she met during her research for that film.
"One Night Only" is Barbaro's latest project following the success of "Top Gun: Maverick," which grossed over $1 billion worldwide. Barbaro noted the significant pressure involved in creating a sequel to the popular "Top Gun" franchise.
At the premiere, Barbaro's co-star Callum Turner attended with his wife, singer Dua Lipa. This marked their first red carpet appearance together as a married couple. The pair, who married in Sicily earlier in the summer, were seen posing together, with Lipa supporting Turner at the event. Lipa wore a plunging black gown with halterneck design and tassel detailing, while Turner was in a navy suit and yellow shirt.
Garfield and Barbaro were first publicly linked in January of the previous year at W Magazine's Best Performances party in Los Angeles. Their romance rumors were further fueled by sightings at Glastonbury and later confirmed at Wimbledon.
