Amy Christophers, a participant on 'Married At First Sight UK,' has given birth to her first child, a daughter named Soraya Rose Jeanne. The reality star, 39, welcomed her baby on Saturday, September 5, at 7:30 p.m. Christophers announced the birth via social media, expressing her profound joy and love for her newborn.

"She's here. Soraya Rose Jeanne," Christophers wrote. "Waters went at 5:20am on Saturday 5th September Freddie Mercury's birthday! And at 7:30pm, our little girl made her grand entrance into the world.... The timing couldn't have been more perfect."

Christophers described the birth as her "dream birth" and expressed gratitude to the midwives at Treliske Hospital, particularly midwife Naomi, for adhering to her birth plan. She shared that the soundtrack to her labor included music by Queen, noting the significance of her daughter's arrival on Freddie Mercury's birthday.

She further explained the origins and meanings of her daughter's name. "Soraya means a cluster of stars," Christophers said. "It's such a beautiful name. I love the way it sounds and it's not a name that you hear too often. We are all made from stars and I wanted something that connected to the celestial world." The middle name, Rose, was an immediate agreement with her partner. Jeanne is a combination of her grandmothers' names, Jean and Anne.

Christophers has previously shared personal struggles, including a tragic pregnancy with twins where one died and the other had to be medically terminated due to complications. She also recounted her mother's near-fatal stroke, which highlighted her desire for a support system as an only child. During her time on 'Married At First Sight,' Christophers' relationship with Joshua ended after the final vows, which she attributed to a lack of effort on his part. Last year, she stated that her participation in the show had negatively impacted her career opportunities.
