Amy Childs is reportedly in advanced discussions with ITV for a spin-off series that will document her upcoming second wedding to partner Billy Delbosq. The ceremony is scheduled to take place in Spain in September.
Sources suggest that Childs and ITV are close to signing a contract for the show, which would allow the couple to capture their celebrations on camera. Childs, a long-time figure on "The Only Way Is Essex," has previously starred in several ITV spin-off programs focusing on her family life. "Amy is a favourite at ITV," a source told the Daily Mail. "She has been on Towie for years and has had several spin-off shows following her family life. It feels like a perfect fit."
The couple already held a low-key civil ceremony at London's Marylebone Town Hall in April. The upcoming Spanish wedding is expected to be a larger affair, with celebrity friends and "Towie" co-stars invited.
Childs has indicated a desire for a highly glamorous event, previously stating, "If you think about Amy Childs getting married, you think glam, over the top, sparkles!" She plans to wear four different wedding dresses for the occasion, with her hair and makeup team set to alter her look for each outfit. Her cousin, Harry Derbidge, has been appointed as her Man of Honour.
Following their April ceremony, Childs and Delbosq enjoyed a mini-moon with their children at Claridge's hotel in Mayfair. The couple shares two-year-old twins, Billy and Millie. Childs also has two older children, Polly, eight, and Ritchie, seven, from previous relationships.
Their wedding plans were previously postponed last year due to the ill health of Childs' mother, Julie, who suffered a heart attack. At the time, Childs stated that the wedding would be rescheduled for the following year, aiming for it to be "amazing."
