Amy Cappellazzo and Yuki Terase Recognized on TIME100 Art List

Amy Cappellazzo and Yuki Terase, the duo behind the art consultancy Art Intelligence Global, have been named to the 2026 TIME100 Art List, recognizing their significant influence in the art world.

Founded in 2021, Art Intelligence Global operates as a discreet intermediary for high-net-worth individuals, family wealth funds, artists, and elite collectors. The firm specializes in advising clients on art acquisitions, private sales, appraisals, and long-term collection strategy. Unlike traditional agents, Cappellazzo and Terase often act as matchmakers, facilitating transactions behind the scenes.

Cappellazzo, formerly based in New York, and Terase, who worked in Hong Kong, both spent years managing high-profile art sales at Sotheby's before establishing their own venture. Terase's background also includes experience in the mergers and acquisitions division at Morgan Stanley's Tokyo office.

Their consultancy has found particular success in bridging Western and Asian art markets. They focus on identifying and articulating the intrinsic value of artworks to potential buyers. Cappellazzo notes that a piece's appeal is often enhanced by its history of being “loved and cherished by its owners,” an intangible quality she describes as an “X factor” that is difficult to quantify financially.
