Mike Wolfe, 61, the star of the History Channel series American Pickers, and his girlfriend, Leticia Cline, were injured in a car crash Friday in Columbia, Tennessee, Wolfe said Saturday on social media.
Wolfe posted that the pair "were involved in a car accident last evening in Columbia, TN" and said they were "by the grace of God" safe and receiving care. He asked followers to respect their privacy and thanked them for their prayers. In subsequent posts he described the night as "rough" but said "there's light at the end of the tunnel." Cline posted images of the damaged vehicle and additional details about her injuries on her own accounts.
Cline wrote that her jaw struck a shattered car window and listed multiple injuries, including a broken jaw in several places, broken ribs, a broken sternum, a collapsed lung and significant swelling on her spine. She said her mouth would be wired shut and that she hoped to undergo surgery the following day. Wolfe posted a photo showing the two together in a hospital setting, with Cline wearing a neck brace.
Wolfe said Cline remained in the hospital Saturday and was expected to make a full recovery. He added that both were receiving "excellent care." Fox News Digital reached out to Wolfe's representatives for comment.
Photographs shared by Wolfe and Cline on social media show a heavily damaged vintage blue vehicle. No official report from law enforcement detailing the cause of the crash, whether other vehicles were involved, or any citations has been released publicly as of Saturday evening.
Wolfe is best known for co-hosting American Pickers, a series that follows the hosts as they search for antiques and collectible items. Earlier this year he announced he was closing his Nashville Antique Archaeology storefront after 15 years, saying the decision reflected a desire to pursue a slower pace of life in his home state of Iowa. In that post he characterized the change as "not goodbye — it’s just a new rhythm" and expressed gratitude for the community that supported the shop.
The closure followed a difficult period for the show's cast and fans after the September 2024 death of Wolfe's longtime on- and off-screen partner Frank Fritz, who died of complications from a stroke while in hospice care. Wolfe has previously said the team frequently thinks about Fritz while filming.
Wolfe's posts on Saturday thanked followers for their prayers and support. Cline, who has worked as a broadcaster and model and has appeared with Wolfe on social media, asked for privacy as she recovers. No additional updates on their medical conditions were available Sunday.
Officials in Columbia or the vehicle's tow service did not immediately provide a public statement regarding the crash. Further information about the circumstances of the collision and any potential investigations was not available.
