Amber Mozo, who won Harry Jowsey’s hand on the Netflix series “Let’s Marry Harry,” has accused her estranged husband of emotional abuse and infidelity. Mozo detailed the alleged mistreatment during the show's reunion, stating she ended their marriage due to gaslighting and manipulation.
"I don’t enjoy being in a marriage where I’m gaslit, manipulated, and emotionally abused, so I f—king ran for the hills once I saw what you were like when the cameras cut,” Mozo said during the reunion. She claimed that Jowsey believed "it’s great TV to play with [her] heart."
Mozo also accused Jowsey of cheating with Dannelle Davidson, the show’s runner-up, whom she called a "home-wrecker." "This man played us both. He’s f—king weird as f—k," Mozo stated.
Jowsey, however, asserted that he only contacted Davidson after he and Mozo had decided to end their relationship, and that he and Davidson are no longer together. He apologized to both women, describing his relationship with Mozo as "special and meaningful."
He explained that the pressures of their relationship being kept secret before the show aired made it difficult to get to know each other. Jowsey also criticized Mozo for mentioning his late father's passing in an Instagram statement after the reunion.
Mozo told People that the reunion was the first time she had seen Jowsey since their split in January. She had only learned about Jowsey and Davidson reconnecting shortly before filming the reunion.
Davidson claimed during the reunion that Jowsey contacted her in January to say he was no longer with Mozo and invited her to Los Angeles. Mozo stated that she and Jowsey were still together at that time and felt betrayed by both of them. "I was just in a really devastated headspace. I hate feeling that way. I feel like one of them should have at least been honest with me," she said.
Mozo felt "completely disposed of" and that Jowsey "basically ghosted" her. She recalled Jowsey's on-show comments about not wanting to "promise the girl the world and then take it all away," stating he did precisely that to her.
“Let’s Marry Harry” featured 20 women competing for Jowsey's affection, with Mozo and Davidson reaching the finale. While the finale depicted Jowsey and Mozo's wedding, TMZ later confirmed the marriage was never legally registered. The couple has not confirmed the legal status of their union. The series is available for streaming on Netflix.
