Amanda Bynes was photographed in Los Angeles this week showing off a two-toned hair color while wearing an oversized Lady Gaga T-shirt, according to published reports.
The 39-year-old former child star was spotted leaving a gas station on Thursday with the top of her hair dyed platinum blonde and the back dyed black. She wore an oversized black-and-white Lady Gaga T-shirt, white athleisure slacks and black-and-white Nike sneakers. Bynes appeared makeup-free behind black-framed glasses and carried a quilted black shoulder bag, Daily Mail reported.
The appearance comes a few weeks after Bynes told followers she had received lip filler, and follows years in which she has stepped back from mainstream acting. The images, published Sept. 5, 2025, show a casual, street-style look rather than a red-carpet appearance.
Separately, actor Frankie Muniz — who co-starred with Bynes in the 2002 comedy Big Fat Liar — told US Weekly that he once had a large crush on her and that he turned down a major opportunity to meet her. Muniz did not provide further detail about the opportunity in the interview.
Bynes rose to fame as a child actor in the late 1990s and early 2000s with roles in Nickelodeon programming and films. In recent years she has made occasional public appearances and shared updates about her life and appearance on social media. Her new hair color and informal outfit were captured by photographers during the recent outing in Los Angeles.
