Amal and George Clooney were recently seen touring the exclusive Villa Bragaglia on the Italian island of Capri, fueling speculation that the couple may be considering purchasing another property in the country.
Amal Clooney's distinctive ensemble, a vintage suede Mugler skirt and halterneck top in orange and turquoise with fringe detailing, drew comparisons to the cartoon character Fred Flintstone. She accessorized with an Aquazzura handbag and oversized sunglasses. George Clooney wore a white polo shirt and cream trousers during the visit.
The villa, which has been on the market since 2021, offers panoramic views of the Bay of Naples and is known for its secluded location amidst Mediterranean vegetation. Commissioned in the 1940s by Italian film director Carlo Ludovico Bragaglia, the property features marble reception rooms, parquet floors, and Roman artifacts, along with a separate guesthouse.
This outing comes more than two decades after George Clooney purchased the 18th-century Villa Oleandra on Lake Como. The Lake Como estate has since been expanded and is now reportedly valued at over £74 million. It includes amenities such as a swimming pool, tennis courts, a home cinema, and a gym.
George Clooney is also scheduled to be honored with the Golden Lion for lifetime achievement at the Venice Film Festival in September.
