In her new Netflix series, "Earle Meets World," social media personality Alix Earle has spoken out about her feud with podcast host Alex Cooper, stating she was initially "scared" of Cooper.

Earle, 25, shared that she "stayed quiet for so long" because she believed Cooper, 32, was someone "they always win with" and "always come out on top." Earle claims Cooper directly told her, "You don’t want to go to war with me."

Cooper's Unwell Network signed Earle's "Hot Mess" podcast in 2023. However, in March 2025, it was announced that "Hot Mess" had been dropped by the production company. Earle reportedly learned of this decision "through the media."

Earle described her relationship with Cooper as one where she initially saw her as an "idol" and was "so happy to work for her." However, she came to feel "taken advantage of and used and mistreated and manipulated."

She also accused Cooper of making her uncomfortable during a "Call Her Daddy" interview approximately three years prior. Earle stated that she was given alcohol before the recording and asked "really sexual questions" that she was not comfortable answering, especially while under the influence. Earle claims she asked Cooper to omit part of the interview afterward, but alleges Cooper refused.

Business Dealings and Allegations

Earle's father, TJ Earle, who also serves as her manager, claimed that the business deal with Unwell Network fell "way below" initial promises. He alleged that Alix was left to handle all aspects of her podcast production herself, including setting up lighting and camera equipment, despite being told to hire her own help. Earle stated that after feeling "pressured" to renew her contract for a second year, the Unwell team began to distance themselves, stopping invitations to events, limiting communication, and skipping meetings.

The public feud between Earle and Cooper escalated in April when Cooper posted a video addressing Earle's "passive-aggressive re-posts and likes" on social media, confirming widespread speculation.

Earle's family publicly supported her during this period. Her mother described Cooper as a "bully," and TJ Earle called Cooper "desperate." Alix Earle herself sent a text message, which it remains unclear if she actually sent, calling Cooper "sick and twisted." In the message, Earle stated, "You took advantage of me at a young age in a new industry I knew nothing about. You are full of false promises, and Unwell is a continuation of that." She concluded by vowing to "never" do business with someone like Cooper again.

A representative for Cooper did not respond to requests for comment.
