Television personalities Alison Hammond and Prue Leith made a striking appearance at the Vin + Omi London Fashion Week show, joining Jo Wood and Jane Moore on the runway. The quartet donned elaborate wigs and dramatic gowns for the event, continuing the brand's tradition of featuring recognizable figures over professional models.

Backstage, Alison Hammond, 51, and Prue Leith, 86, posed for photographs in eye-catching ensembles. Hammond modeled a floor-length black sequin dress paired with glamorous, bedazzled eye makeup. Leith sported voluminous red hair, her signature oversized glasses, and a white floral tulle dress adorned with multicolored flowers. Leith, who stepped down from her role on The Great British Bake Off last year, has appeared in five previous Vin + Omi shows.

Jo Wood, 71, also returned to the Vin + Omi runway, wearing a long V-neck black and silver stripe maxi dress with chunky black boots. She completed her look with dark eye makeup and adopted playful poses.

Jane Moore was seen in a long blue sequin dress and a statement headpiece. She was accompanied by a dog wearing a matching blue sparkly scarf.

The Vin + Omi brand intentionally selects individuals with connections to environmentalism, creativity, music, television, or activism, rather than solely for publicity. For instance, their 2021 Future Flowers show included Jo Wood alongside Olympic athletes.

The design duo behind Vin + Omi, who launched the label in 2004, describe themselves as 'ideologists' rather than just designers. They aim to use fashion as a platform to encourage discussions about environmental and social issues.
