Alex Cooper, host of the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, has identified a common characteristic among those who leave negative comments about her pregnancy. Cooper, who announced in May that she is expecting her first child, shared on her Instagram stories that the majority of these critical messages originate from men.
One direct message shared by Cooper read, "Don’t complain about being pregnant. Your choice. Pregnancy can be hard." Responding to this sentiment, Cooper humorously remarked, "‘Pregnancy can be hard’ oh Chris tell me about your pregnancy I would love to hear babe!"
Cooper, who married producer Matt Kaplan in April 2024, has also been open about some of the challenges she has faced during her pregnancy. Last week, she disclosed to her followers that she was diagnosed with gestational diabetes (GD). According to the Mayo Clinic, GD is a form of diabetes that can affect both the pregnant individual and the baby due to elevated blood sugar levels.
Describing the diagnosis as "upsetting," Cooper initially struggled with the news, sharing that she felt "very isolating" despite the support of her family and husband. She added that her primary concern was the health and well-being of her child, stating her commitment to doing "whatever it takes" to ensure a healthy pregnancy.
