Single artist Alesha Dixon recently demonstrated her continued passion for music and dancing at the Notting Hill Carnival. Dixon made a surprise appearance at the Rampage Sound stage on Sunday, participating in festivities alongside UK garage MC Maxwell D and jungle DJ Jumpin Jack Frost.
Footage from the event showed Dixon, dressed in a gold bikini top and black shorts, dancing enthusiastically. Jumpin Jack Frost took to Instagram to commend Dixon, writing, "Big respect to Alesha Dixon for rocking with me at the Rampage stage and sharing that incredible energy with the crowd." Following her time at the stage, Dixon continued the celebrations at Soho House White City, where she danced to music from Rampage Sound.
Dixon, who has described herself as an "original raver," shared moments from the private club, jokingly stating, "It’s official! I’m the 4th member of @rampagesound as a back up dancer!"
The Notting Hill Carnival, Europe's largest street festival, attracted approximately two million attendees over the bank holiday weekend. Other notable figures seen at the carnival included Craig David, Maya Jama, and London Mayor Sadiq Khan.
This appearance comes after reports of Dixon's separation from dancer Azuka Ononye following an 18-year relationship, which emerged in late 2024. While they continued living together for their two daughters, Azura Sienna, 12, and Anaya Safiya, seven, and focused on co-parenting, Dixon has previously spoken about the importance of dancing in her life, stating in an interview last year that she can still out-dance and out-party many people.
Dixon is also preparing to reunite with former Mis-Teeq bandmates Sabrina Washington and Su-Elise Nash for a concert on September 12. The event will mark the 25th anniversary of their debut album, "Lickin’ On Both Sides," with a performance at the OVO Arena Wembley. Dixon had previously told British Vogue that reunion offers had been turned down in the past because "it’s never felt right."
