Comedian Alan Carr received the Special Recognition award at the 31st National Television Awards on Tuesday night. The award was the sole category not determined by public vote.
During his acceptance speech, Carr, who appeared emotional, reflected on his recent role in "The Celebrity Traitors." He noted his continued feelings of remorse for a scene in the 2025 series where he "murdered" singer Paloma Faith. "I did feel bad because I'd murdered people," Carr stated, adding, "I still felt bad about Paloma."
