Aimee Lou Wood and Adam Long publicly confirmed their relationship at the 2025 Emmy Awards on Sunday after being photographed together in the Peacock Theater audience in Los Angeles.

The pair, who play love interests in the upcoming BBC Three series Film Club, were pictured smiling as Long, 34, reached to touch Wood’s leg while she, 31, held his arm. Wood, who was nominated for outstanding supporting actress in a drama series for her role as Chelsea in White Lotus, made her Emmys debut in a strapless pale-pink satin Alexander McQueen gown with a train and matching pink pumps. Long wore a classic black suit. The two were not photographed together on the red carpet.

After the ceremony, Wood and Long attended an HBO Max afterparty at San Vicente Bungalows in West Hollywood, where they spoke with Wood’s White Lotus co-stars Lisa and Michelle Monaghan, according to photographers at the scene. The appearance and in-theater photographs marked the clearest public confirmation of a relationship that first drew attention in June, when the two were seen kissing during a coffee date in London and embracing outside the café.

Wood rose to prominence in the HBO anthology White Lotus and earlier gained recognition for her role on Netflix’s Sex Education. Long has appeared in British television projects including Bancroft. Both are credited among the cast of Film Club, which pairs their on-screen characters as romantic interests.

The public moments at the Emmys follow months of attention to Wood’s off-screen interactions. Earlier this year, rumors of a feud with White Lotus co-star Walton Goggins surfaced after he unfollowed Wood on social media in April. Goggins later told Variety in June that the unfollow was a symbolic move to separate himself from his character Rick and had no bearing on their personal relationship; he said he and Wood “care about each other very deeply.”

Representatives for Wood and Long did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The actors’ appearance together at the Emmys adds a high-profile public moment to a relationship that has unfolded gradually in public view, from a London coffee date in June to shared industry events and promotional appearances tied to their new series.
