Adult film performer Dale Savage died on June 19 from a stroke at the age of 62. The news was confirmed by Anthony Duran, a partner at gay pornography company Ducati Studios.

Savage, who identified as pansexual, had a career working with male, female, and transgender performers. Known for his "muscle daddy" persona, he entered the adult industry at 50 after a career as a firefighter. He spent his retirement in Vail, Colorado, where he enjoyed outdoor activities like hiking.

Duran noted Savage's rapid rise to stardom after beginning his career at age 50, highlighting his enjoyment of his work and collaborations with top studios and actors. Savage retired approximately three years prior to his death.

Savage's passing follows a recent series of deaths within the male adult film industry. In December, performer Lane Rogers, known as Blake Mitchell, died in a motorcycle accident at 31. In March, Seth Peterson died at 28 in his Los Angeles home; his mother reportedly suspected a drug overdose as the cause.

Last year, Tim Kruger, whose real name was Marcel Bonn, died at 44 following what his partner described as a "simple accident" at home, emphasizing that drugs and foul play were not involved. In May, Glenn Soukesian, also known as Colton Ford, died at 62. His death was later ruled an accidental overdose of MDMA near a hiking trail in Palm Springs.
