Adam J Woodward, known for his role as Brody Hudson in the soap opera 'Hollyoaks,' has become a father for the first time. His partner, Olivia Weedall, gave birth to their son, Matthew Rayn Woodward, on August 5, 2026.
Woodward shared the news on Instagram, posting pictures of the newborn and writing, "Welcome to the world Matthew Rayn Woodward. 05.08.2026 We love you more than you could ever know." He was pictured carrying his son in a car seat leaving the hospital.
Weedall, who is a freestyle footballer, also shared photos of their son on social media. Woodward's 'Hollyoaks' co-stars, including Owen Warner, Nikki Anderson, and Gary Lucy, offered their congratulations.
The couple announced they were expecting a child in March, sharing a black and white silhouette photo of the pregnancy.
Woodward joined 'Hollyoaks' in 2017. His character, Brody Hudson, was written out of the show in 2021 after being killed off in a hit-and-run storyline. He has since appeared in 'Emmerdale.' Previously, Woodward was in a relationship with his 'Hollyoaks' co-star Sophie Porley. They ended their two-year relationship in 2020.
