Alexander Westwood, an actor with a role on the Netflix series "Sex Education," has been sentenced to 15 and a half years in prison after being convicted of 26 offenses against children and two pupils. The convictions stem from incidents of rape and sexual abuse perpetrated against Oliwia Wudarowicz, who was 16 when she began taking acting lessons from Westwood in December 2020.

Wudarowicz, who has chosen to reveal her identity, recounted that Westwood initiated inappropriate behavior during their one-on-one lessons. She stated that in January 2021, Westwood, then 20 years old, instructed her to change in front of him, claiming it was standard backstage practice and questioning her virginity. Later that same month, he raped her.

Wudarowicz has stated that Westwood's actions not only caused her deep distress but also shattered her lifelong aspiration of becoming an actress. She described feeling "dirty" as a result of the abuse.

Westwood, from Albrighton in Shropshire, was sentenced in February 2025. The court found him guilty of multiple assaults and abuses during the acting lessons he provided.
