British actor Michael Ward has been found not guilty of rape and sexual assault. The Bafta winner, known for his roles in the film "Blue Story" and the Netflix series "Top Boy," was acquitted on all charges by a jury at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Friday.

Ward, 28, had denied two counts of rape and three counts of sexual assault. The accusations stemmed from an alleged incident involving a woman he met at an east London nightclub on January 2, 2023.

During the trial, Ward told the jury that the encounter with his accuser was "wholly consensual." The jury's verdict on Friday cleared him of all charges.
