On an upcoming episode of TLC's "90 Day Fiancé," Mido faces a reality check regarding his aspirations to become a successful actor in the United States, delivered by his fiancée Debby's son, Caden.

Caden, making his season debut, directly addresses Mido's acting ambitions, emphasizing the highly competitive nature of the industry in America. "Acting is a very, like, you know, a one in a million type of shot to be actually sustainably successful in terms of providing for family," Caden states.

Despite Mido's assertion that he is pursuing what he desires, Caden attempts to offer a more pragmatic perspective. He draws a parallel to his own past ambition of playing baseball, highlighting the distinction between pursuing a passion and the necessity of earning a living. "Like for me personally, I really wanted to play baseball, but there’s definitely the fine line of things that you really love to do and things that have to be able to, you know, pay your bills, put food on the table, stuff like that," he explains.

Mido, 41, expresses annoyance at Caden's questioning but tells cameras he intends to prove his future stepson wrong. When asked about alternative skills, Mido suggests creating music videos for YouTube as a potential revenue stream, stating, "I’m trying to be successful all the time."

Mido's career goals have previously caused friction with Debby, 55. She has openly questioned whether his desire to marry her is motivated by love or by his ambition to live in America and pursue stardom. Despite concerns from her friends and a past argument, Debby and Mido became engaged earlier in the season and are proceeding toward marriage.

"90 Day Fiancé" airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
