Stanley Park, a 16th-century manor in the Cotswolds village of Selsley that was rented by Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher ahead of his arena tour rehearsals, has been listed for $7.98 million. The 2.5-acre estate is on the market as a single property for the first time, listing agents said.

Gallagher and his fiancée, Debbie Gwyther, lived at the four-story, 11-bedroom house during a year-long rehearsal period ahead of his 2024 "Definitely Maybe" arena tour; the singer has described his time there as "living like a monk." The rental was reported at $23,000 a month. The listing is being handled by Plum Fenton and Tom Waltham of Savills.

Believed to date to 1584 with 19th-century additions, Stanley Park is designated Grade II, a status that protects buildings of special architectural or historic interest. The property retains numerous historic features, including original stone fireplaces, ornate arches and mantels, a north-facing ballroom and an original stained-glass ceiling, documents from the listing show.

The manor's recent configuration and amenities reflect a major restoration and adaptation. Rebekah Seddon-Wickens, a property entrepreneur, bought the estate at auction in 2015 for about $1.03 million after it had been divided into multiple apartments and suffered decades of neglect. She oversaw a seven-year renovation guided by Victorian floor plans and historical records, restoring many original elements while adding contemporary facilities, including a circular modern kitchen, gym, meditation room, sauna and cinema room.

Stanley Park's long history includes a royal visit in 1941 by Queen Mary, grandmother of Queen Elizabeth II, who attended afternoon tea at the house with Lady Beatrice Marling. After Marling's death, the residence was divided into 11 apartments and subsequently auctioned off in multiple lots, a process that contributed to its period of dereliction before the current restoration.

Interior photographs of the estate show ornate ceilings, a large stone fireplace in the entryway, a bright living room and a billiards room, alongside more intimate spaces such as a floral sitting room and bedrooms with bay windows and pendant lighting. The restoration preserved historic character while introducing modern comforts aimed at a single-owner configuration.

Agents say the current listing marks the first time the estate has been offered as one property since the mid-20th-century break-up and auctioning into lots. The sale listing follows the house's recent visibility during Gallagher's high-profile occupation and comes amid renewed public interest in the singer, who has been performing on the Oasis Live 25 tour with his brother Noel.

Savills' listing materials emphasize both the house's historic pedigree and the scope of the renovation, noting the balance of preserved period detail and added amenities suitable for contemporary country living. Prospective buyers will inherit a property with protected status, a lengthy documented history and recent updates intended to return the manor to a single-family residence after generations of fragmentation.
