Kylie Jenner has given her social media followers an update on her long-term real estate project, showcasing the ongoing construction of her "dream Italian home" in Calabasas. The 29-year-old entrepreneur shared a six-minute video on YouTube detailing the progress on the mansion, which she purchased in 2020 for $15 million from Miley Cyrus.
Jenner explained in the video that she initially hesitated to share details about the property, but decided to proceed as information was already circulating online. "I have been building a house for like six years," she told her 12.1 million subscribers, noting that she bought the land in 2020.
The property's landscaping features reclaimed cobblestone paving and is framed by olive trees and lavender, with renowned landscaper Jim Hyatt, known for his work at the San Ysidro Ranch, overseeing the grounds. According to a report from August 2025, Jenner invested $500,000 in olive trees for the estate. She also noted in the video that her sister Kendall Jenner had recently removed olive trees from one of her own properties, commenting on their beauty and resemblance to her sister.
Jenner, who was dressed in a black tank top and cropped trousers for her site visit, mentioned she had just finished a day of meetings and was heading to the property for "approvals." Previous glimpses of the home's interior have included an unfinished laundry room and a marble shower with a built-in bench.
Once completed, the modern farmhouse, designed by architect Richard Landry on a four-acre lot, is expected to be substantial. Reports indicate it will feature a 30,000-square-foot living space, a 12-car underground garage and bunker, 15 bedrooms, a sports court, and a large swimming pool.
Jenner currently resides in a $36 million home in Hidden Hills, California, with her two children, daughter Stormi and son Aire, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott. She has been publicly dating actor Timothée Chalamet since 2023.
