Creditors are still owed more than $900,000 from Felicity Morgan's collapsed coaching company, with only three cents remaining in its bank account, according to fresh documents filed with ASIC. The liquidator continues to pursue the matter, despite the company's near-total financial ruin.
Financial Wreckage Uncovered
Documents reveal that Morgan's company, which previously supported her luxurious Bali lifestyle, has been left in a state of significant debt. The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) filings show that the total owed to creditors remains substantial, while the company's assets have dwindled to almost nothing. This situation has left numerous creditors facing substantial financial losses.
Morgan, who gained public attention in 2016 on the reality series Seven Year Switch, has reportedly stated that she is cooperating with the liquidation process. Her husband, Sydney businessman Matt Cameron, has previously appeared on television discussing why he believes Australia's tax system is driving families and investment offshore.
Company's Demise
The coaching company's collapse occurred last year after accumulating nearly $1 million in debts. The precise reasons for the company's failure are detailed in the ASIC documents, which are being reviewed by the liquidator. The ongoing investigation aims to ascertain the full extent of the financial mismanagement and to recover any possible assets for the creditors.
Cameron had previously shared videos announcing his family's move overseas, stating they were forced to leave Australia and would never return. The family's relocation and the subsequent collapse of Morgan's business have drawn significant attention, particularly given the substantial debts left outstanding.
