The Daily Mail has launched a new test version of its recipe tool, Daily Mail Kitchen, incorporating reader feedback to offer AI-powered meal suggestions and customizable portion sizes.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, the tool aims to simplify dinner planning by generating recipe ideas based on ingredients that users input. If a user enters items such as mince, eggs, or spinach, the Kitchen tool will then suggest dinners that utilize those specific ingredients.
Additionally, the tool now sizes recipes according to the number of people being cooked for. When users first request a suggestion, they can select a portion size for 1-2, 3-4, or 5 or more people. This setting is then applied to all subsequent recipe suggestions, though it can be adjusted at any time.
These updates were implemented in response to comments and suggestions from readers who tried the initial test version of Daily Mail Kitchen last week. The publication stated that the tool is still in its testing phase and is being updated daily, with ongoing user feedback being solicited to further improve its functionality.
